On Friday I went up to CUE 2015 in Palm Springs for the day. It was awesome.
I've never been to CUE before, so this was a completely new experiencce. We got there and walked around, checked in, etc. Then we went to lunch with our friend Brian. And by we, I mean me and my mom.

Lunch was good. We went to the Matchbox and I had a burger and calamari.
And while that was all great, what was more great was meeting people and making connections at the SDCUE social.
First I talked to the famous John Stevens. We talked about goals and such but something I realized was that I didn't know how I was going to leave my voice behind when I am not longer a student.
Which made me realize the importance of empowering other student voices and getting more teachers to listen to their students. I'm thinking of writing all these ideas for the public in some sort of pamphlet or something - don't quote me on that.
CUE was an awesome experience, and now I have a list of goals to accomplish!
Yours Truly,
Alex
