In this post, let's discuss my favorite presentation app Emaze!
With this program you can make beautiful presentations that flow so perfectly and look a million times better than a normal PowerPoint. What I also enjoy is that it is quite easy to use.
Let me show you.
First you start on your profile where you'll make a new presentation.

And then using your smartness you put together a ton of slides with your information and VOILA! A beautiful presentation like this.
I love this app, it's no secret, I use it for practically everything. It's simple and beautiful.
But there is one problem...

This...
Do not, I repeat, Do NOT, have your students use this feature on Emaze if you want them to work together in class. Let me explain why.
Emaze does not allow you to do what practically every other program can do in this era, work together simultaneously. Totally un-emazing.
I was working with a friend and we were working at the same time yet we couldn't see eachother's work...I shrugged it off as a glitched and exited to refresh. But when I came back ALL my slides were gone. Her's were there because she stayed on the actual presentation. I was pissed.
I took it to Twitter - as any tech person does when unsatisifed. And while Emaze's tweets were ever so helpful (sarcasm) my slides were still gone.

So I went to customer service to figure it out...
Liam was no help to say the least.
He sent me three e-mails with the exact same advice just phrased differently (which does not work!) to help me get back my slides back. He completely ignored every complaint I made in my responses including when I said I wish I had known you can not actually work together before I chose their program.

I love Emaze - truly. But don't do collaboration on it - don't put your students in a spot where they will lose all their work and have to deal with customer service people like Liam.
Also if you use it, do not pay for it. Trust me - it's no different.
Well in short, I love Emaze just not for collaboration.
This was fun. Go try Emaze!
